Not much time has passed since the last event and here we go again – another Day of caring at FAFNIR Gmbh!
At the end of November, eight members of the FAFNIR team were able to gain new experience whilst helping people in need at the same time – as part of the Hamburger Tafel. Hamburger Tafel is a not-for-profit organization that provides free food for the homeless, people with low income, as well as for refugees. Hamburger Tafel is run by a group of 100 volunteers that handle around 40 tonnes of food per week to feed some 20 000 people.

We are happy to announce that we have finalized the certification process for a highly reliable and accurate LPG mass measurement system for Russia!
In December 2018 VISY-Stick LPG was added to the registry for metrology mass measurement. This exciting development opens up a new chapter in our product development for the Russian market: our VISY-X system + LPG probe can not only measure the level of LPG, but also the bottom water, temperature, pressure and density at the same time. CONDURIX is set to be discontinued following a process of portfolio optimisation. There will be no direct replacement for this product, however we will continue to provide the entire TORRIX range which can be used for a wide range of different applications, and which can also be customized to better fit customers’ requirements.
In the mid-term, we will continue to provide technical support for existing CONDURIX customers.

We have recently exhibited at Autocomplex 2018 in Moscow which is the biggest fuel retail, fuel solutions and services exhibition in the Russia and CIS region. It takes place annually at the end of the year, in the heart of the business district in Moscow.
During the event we were pleased to meet and network with our partners, colleagues and potential customers and held some productive discussions.
This year our stand showcased the latest solutions for the Russian market, including the LPG mass measurement system VISY-X, with vapour and liquid phase separate mass calculation.

We are proud to annouce that we have exceeded 1,000,000 working hours without a single accident during our production process! This is an incredible result and credit to the teamwork involved in managing and analysing all the potential risks during our operational processes. On the 16th of September employees from FAFNIR took part in our Day of Caring event. The Day of Caring events – a Fortive led initiative - take place a few times a year, and provide the perfect opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering with all kinds of not-for-profit organizations, from children’s and disabled charities, to those which help people in need in our communities.

Hereby we are announcing that the Condensate Separator for vapour reocvery systems will not be anymore produced soon. This decision is driven by the current market demand however we can assure that FAFNIR will continue developing the VAPORIX and other solutions to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations for now and in future.
