The LAB-SUPPLY fairs are in Germany the regional trade fairs for instrumental analysis, laboratory technology, laboratory chemicals and biotechnology / life science.
On 19 October 2011 took place the LAB-SUPPLY in Marl. FAFNIR was there as an exhibitor and has presented the products for waste tank monitoring and fluid management in the laboratory. The next LAB-SUPPLY fair takes place on 23 November 2011 in Hannover.

For Reliable Water Detection!
For some time now, E10 has been in use in many different countries. As bioethanol bonds with water, mixtures will be appearing in the storage tanks which did not occur in the case of the previous fuels with a maximum content of 5% ethanol. We recommend the use of our special water float for E10 to secure a safe detection of water in these types of fuels as well.
The standard water float now installed in existing systems can be replaced with the water fl oat for E10, i.e. whilst the necessary steps for the UST allocation are taken on site. The Special Water…
On 25 May 2011 took place the Special MSR Fair in Hamburg. FAFNIR was there as an exhibitor and has presented the products from the process technology area. The focus was: TORRIX, CONDURIX and LOGI-Command.
FAFNIR exhibits since 4 years at the MSR Special Fairs. These trade shows are characterized by very pronounced professionals from the industry. This time the fair was also very well attended and it was for FAFNIR very successful event.
The next MSR fair is on 14th September 2011 in Landshut.

On 24 February 2011 the FAFNIR-price awards ceremony took place at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH).
Mrs. Maide Güzel has been awarded this time with the FAFNIR-price of € 1,500 for her study in computer science-engineering.
With this award, initiated in 2008, FAFNIR promotes young talents in engineering at TUHH for their outstanding theses in the field of sensor technology.
The FAFNIR LPG level sensors (LPG: Liquefied Petroleum Gas) provide information about the fuel levels in the LPG tanks. The pressure-resistant, magnetostrictive sensors with a Buna float and stainless steel screw connection are specially designed for use in liquefied petroleum gas.
