FAFNIR GmbH recently exhibited at the very first Uniti Expo in Stuttgart Germany from 3rd to 5th June, 2014. At the exhibition, we gave our customers the very first look at our new visual demonstration tool for our VAPORIX product line
FAFNIR recognize the markets with the 2009/126/EC Directive of the European Parliament and Council for Stage II Vapour Recovery legislation impending, may be unclear, firstly of the need for vapour recovery monitoring and secondly how it would impact their current forecourt infrastructure. We wanted to make the process of understanding as simple as possible and therefore created a step by step visual tool to demonstrate the VAPORIX solution.
What is VAPORIX?
VAPORIX is the FAFNIR product range that meets the requirements of the Stage II Vapour Recovery Directive which is already applied in varying stages in Germany, UK, France, Hungary, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Taiwan and Thailand.
Legislation states that all fuel dispensers must be fitted with a vapour recovery system and in turn, a vapour recovery monitoring system to ensure the recovery system is working effectively to prevent the release of vapours into the atmosphere for safety and environmental protection.
