FAFNIR GmbH is a new member of Gilbarco Veeder-Root Group Since 08th of March 2010 is FAFNIR GmbH a new member of Gilbarco Veeder-Root Group (GVR).
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is the leading global supplier of integrated fuel control, site management and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises. Products include dispensers, payment systems, tank gauges, submersible pumps, point of sale systems, and remote monitoring of site functionality.
The Gilbarco Veeder-Root Group of companies employs approximately 4.000 associates and is headquartered in Greensboro, NC, USA with manufacturing and research and development centers around the world. GVR will keep the FAFNIR-brand as a solution for the ATG and the Vapour-Recovery business. FAFNIR will retain its product brands and will continue to operate out of its Hamburg, Germany location as a division of Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
René Albrecht und Rolf Schaal will continue as Managing Directors of FAFNIR. The former owners are convinced of a secure and successful future that FAFNIR will enjoy together with GVR worldwide.
