On the 16th of September employees from FAFNIR took part in our Day of Caring event. The Day of Caring events – a Fortive led initiative - take place a few times a year, and provide the perfect opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering with all kinds of not-for-profit organizations, from children’s and disabled charities, to those which help people in need in our communities.
This year we are proud to report that 10 of our employees actively supported the World Children’s Festival in Hamburg. It is the biggest, for free, open air festival for kids in Hamburg, with up to 50.000 visitors every year.
As part of the Day of Caring activities, we actively supported the association „KinderKinder.eV“ with help on construction and running the event. A great day was had by all and it was great to see the positive impact of the event on the faces of the smiling children.
As a company we will continue to empower our staff to make a difference to social sustainability and caring for our wider community.
