Overfill prevention is a safety device which prevents the overfilling of tanks and process containers. It is an indispensable element for environmental protection whenever working with liquids which are potential water pollutants.

The overfill prevention 76/NB 220 for non-flammable and flammable liquids of the Hazard Class AIII consists of a level sensor of the Series 76 and a transducer of the Series NB 220. — Also with AK3.

The 76 can also be used as level control which regulates the fill level of liquids in tanks and process containers. It is a stand-alone solution and functions independently of superordinate industrial control systems.
The FAFNIR level control consists of a level sensor with two or three independent sensors and the corresponding number of transducers.
The upper sensor can take over the function of an approved overfill prevention.
